- knows the structure and process of the maternal health service system
- is proficient in the stages and monitoring of normal pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium
- is proficient in the main problems of gynecological patients and their treatment
- knows sexually transmitted diseases and their significance in reproductive health
- is proficient in the main concepts of sexual health and knows the most commonly used methods of bringing up the topic of sexuality
- recognises the ethical principles of maternity and women's healthcare

Principles of contraception and family planning
Reasons for termination of pregnancy and infertility
