Objective

The student
• is familiar with different scales and their characteristic statistical numbers and will be able to determine them on the basis of data
• is familiar with the basics of statistical testing, knows basic concepts related to probability and is able to apply them in probability distribution.

• Concept of probability
• Conditional probability and independence
• Discrete and continuous probability distribution
• Correlation and regression
• Statistical inference

The student
• has achieved the objectives of the course to a satisfactory level
• is able to identify and define the concepts, models and in the subject area of the course
• has completed the learning tasks required for the course to the minimum standard.
