Objective
After completion of the course, the student
• is able to explain the fundamental concepts of PLCs, their architecture, and their role in automation
• is able to develop PLCs programs and applications using standard programming languages
• is able to design effective and user-friendly interfaces for automation systems, including understanding the principles of human-machine interface design and being able to use software tools to create these interfaces
• understands the various communication protocols used in industrial automation.
