The student
• is able to take into account manufacturing techniques, material choices, design of assembly parts and selection of automated assembly joining techniques and recyclability in the design of products
• is able to consider the principles of clean transition in product design
• knows the basics and standards of life cycle assessment.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student understands the basics of manufacturability and assemblability of products and the main features of the green transition in product design.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student understands the basics of manufacturability and assemblability of products and the main features of clean transition in product design. The student is able to develop life cycle calculations for different products and is able to develop their manufacturability and assemblability.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student masters the manufacturability and assemblability of products and clean transition in product design. The student is able to prepare life cycle calculations for different product packages. The student will be able to develop product manufacturability and assemblability across a wide range of life cycle stages.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student understands the basics of manufacturability and assemblability of products and the main features of the green transition in product design.
