Objective

This course equips students with essential skills for creating impactful marketing materials across online and offline platforms. Student will learn advanced techniques in image and video editing, gain basic knowledge in visual design principles, and explore the technical and legal aspects of content creation. Through hands-on projects, student will produce cohesive marketing campaigns that include photography, graphic design, and video content.

Content

• Visual design principles: basics of colours, composition, framing, and typography
• Legal considerations: copyright, model releases, and other intellectual property concerns in content creation
• Photography and image editing: techniques for studio photography, advanced photo editing and retouching in Photoshop, and file formatting for different uses
• Logo and branding design: creation of logos and brand elements, focusing on visual identity consistency
• Campaign development: designing and executing a marketing campaign using both online and offline materials
• Video production and editing: basics of video shooting, editing essentials in Premiere Pro, and saving videos for different purposes (social media, YouTube, etc.)
• Content formatting and exporting: preparing image and video files for specific digital platforms, ensuring optimal quality and compatibility

The student
• has achieved the objectives of the course well, although there are still areas where knowledge and skills need to be improved
• has a good understanding of the concepts and models of the subject matter of the course and is able to carry out a reasoned analysis
• is able to apply what they have learned in leisure, learning and working life situations
• understands the importance of expertise in business and is able to analyse their own expertise.

The student

• has an excellent command of the concepts and models of the subject matter of the course
• is able to analyse clearly and reasonably and propose practical development measures
