Objective
Students will practice teamwork and working on client projects. The XR project pipeline will become familiarized.
Content
During the course, the students expand their XR and project working skills by applying and further developing skills and knowledge acquired from previous courses. The course focuses on group work and application development by producing prototypes of XR applications.
The areas in which students could explore during the project work:
- Basics of user-oriented design
- User experience
- Accessibility
- Gamification
- Cooperating with a customer
- Further development of 3D modelling skills
- Further development of game engine skills
- Conceptualization and presentation of an idea
- Design and implementation of an XR environment and service
Qualifications
The students must have completed the courses 3D Graphics, Polygon Modelling and Animation, Real-time development platforms 1, and XR Technologies.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student contributes to a multidisciplinary project and understands the XR project pipeline. Understands the benefits of using prototypes in design process and application development.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Cooperates in a multidisciplinary team following the XR project pipeline. Uses prototypes in design process and application development.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Takes responsibility in a multidisciplinary team and develops the project pipeline to suit the project's needs. Uses prototypes creatively in design process and application development.
