Objective

The students know the school's production environment. They know the principles of multi-camera production and related activities. They know the means of visual expression and audiovisual journalism and can use them in multi-camera production. The students know the fundamentals of television storytelling and dramaturgy and apply them in the project. The students know the fundamentals of studio technology, camerawork and studio sound recording as well as principles of visual expression and lighting. They know the tv-studio command cues and working practices. They know the professional roles in tv program productions and can work in different roles. They can compose a directing plan, storyboard and schedule for a tv program. The students can work in different professional roles in live broadcasting situations. They can supply background information to news events, observe social phenomena and generate ideas and program topics based on their observations. The students can pitch their program ideas. The students are familiar with different interview techniques and are able to use them. They can shoot, light, record and edit a video insert. The students can lead and organize both their own and their team's actions. The students know key elements of work safety in the professional field. They can analyze and assess the production process as a whole and give feedback.
