Objective
After completion of the course the student
• is able to install and configure an embedded operating systems on a hardware platform
• understands the principle of prioritised preemptive scheduling and is able to write programs for a multitasking environment
• knows how to use locking and inter-process communication to implement resource efficient programs
• is able to configure and compile kernel that is tailored to run on the target hardware
• knows how measure and monitor system resource usage of an embedded system.

• Configuring network and connecting the system to a network
