Studies in the Master's Degree Programme in Public Procurement strengthen your competence as a procurement professional. You learn to analyze and develop you organization's procurement function to serve the strategic goals while taking into account the demands of the operating environment. After the studies you have gained valuable experience of driving demanding development projects in an organizational context. The learning outcomes have been designed together with public procurement experts (e.g. hankintakeino.fi).

You gain knowledge, skills and competencies in leading public procurement, managing the supplier interface as well as in general business management.

The focus areas of the degree programme are the strategic nature of public procurement, impact, sustainability, innovation and collaboration. The themes of the core public procurement courses are: the operational environment of public procurement, leading public procurement, procurement process and developing the procurement function.

You will also study leadership,business analytics, project management, sustainability and circular economy, digital service design, quality management and how to support your professional development and organisation.
