- soveltaa monitieteistä gerontologista tietoa omassa ja yhteisön toiminnassa
- tarkastella ja arvioida kriittisesti moninaista ikääntymistä ja erilaisia ikääntymisen ympäristöjä
- analysoida ikääntymisen vaikutuksia ja ikäihmisten asemaa yhteiskunnassa vanhustyön etiikkaan sekä yhdenvertaisuuteen ja moninaisuuteen liittyvään tietoon pohjautuen
- vahvistaa yhteisöllisen moniasiantuntijuuden tuloksena syntyvää ikäihmisen hyvinvointia ja terveyttä
- arvioida ja analysoida moninaisten ikäihmisten ja yhteisöjen toimintaa näiden elämänlaadun, osallisuuden ja toimijuuden näkökulmasta
- arvioida kriittisesti omaa asiakasymmärrystä moninaisesta ikääntymisestä ja asettaa tavoitteita oman osaamisen kehittymiselle
