Learning outcomes
The student is able to plan, implement and evaluate oral health care for patients coming from different cultures. S/he can treat patients with periodontitis. S/he is able to assess the propagation risk of periodontitis and individual treatment intervals. S/he is able to distinguish the different stages of caries and select caries prophylactic treatment methods for each patient. S/he is able to analyze the reciprocal connection between general health and oral health.

Practice of oral health care of adults coming from different cultures at the oral health care teaching clinic
• Oral examination and detection of oral infective changes
• Periodontological health care
• Defining the propagation risk of periodontitis and referring for follow-up treatment
• Caries prevention, stopping initial caries and prophylactic filling
• Connection between general health and oral health, antibiotic prophylaxis
• Informing of aesthetic treatments
