Learning outcomes
• Based on their clothing industry projects, the students can prepare a presentation that works well from both communicative and marketing perspectives.
• The students master the software used in different situations of fashion design and can apply the different features of the software comprehensively.
• The students take into notice the demands of the laws of copyright in their design work.
• The students are familiar with the latest computer software in the field of fashion and clothing.
• The students develop their own presentation style as a fashion professional.
Content
• Creating images and texts of a fashion design project according to the given assignment
• Extending the knowledge of the features in bitmap, vector graphics and representation software, possible use of sound/music and multimedia in a presentation
• The extent and interpretation of laws of copyright
• Demonstrating the future software of fashion design
Prerequisites
Prerequisite: Information Technology for Planning.
Teaching methods
Group assignments (breakout rooms in Zoom), research, exploring real-life cases and techniques, visitor speakers, building presentation of own digital representation concept for a garment or collection with selected presentation software.

Assessment methods and criteria
Course assessment is made by the returned assignments and the course project. The biggest weight in the assessment is on course project. As the course project student creates a digital representation concept for a garment or a collection. The concept reflects how well the student knows different kind of digital representation techniques, students creativity in applying them in the concept and how well student understands the necessary human-, technical- and financial resources necessary to implement the concept.
