Objective
Students are able to design and implement a website. They can use online publishing techniques, tools and platforms in their projects. Students are introduced in publishing various media formats. Students know the key principles of usability and user interface design and they can apply them when designing the visual appearance of a web service. Students know the characteristics of online typography. They are able to design interactive functions for a web service and know the basic methods of search engine optimization. Students are able to apply their skills in project work.

Student attends classes. Student masters the core content of the course and knows how to use the relevant tools. Student completes assignments to a satisfactory. Group work and project management skills need improvement.

In addition to meeting the requirements at the previous level, student actively participates in class and completes assignments to a satisfactory standard and on schedule. Active participation in group work. Good project management skills.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
In addition to meeting the requirements at the previous levels, student is able to apply the learned skills and completes the assignments to an excellent standard. Responsible and encouraging participation in group work. Excellent project management skills.
