Objective
Student
-identifys factors related to occupational safety in the health care sector and can act in situations threatening occupational safety and in exceptional health care conditions
- is familiar with the central legislation and guidelines on the use of clinical nuclear medicine and are able to apply their knowledge base to their actions
- applies his/her aseptic knowledge based on microbiology to diverse situations in the workplace
- is familiar with the biomedical laboratory testing and understand its significance to health care and identify the main sampling and patient examination methods as well as factors related to the reliability of laboratory tests and work methods

Orientation
Students prepare to lectures by studying the anatomy of the days topic in advance. Attending to classes. Laboratory safety: Workshops compulsory
Independent studying alone /hopefully in small groups with given material and litterature.
Radiation and electricity safety are assessed via virtual assignments. Dead line agreed later.
Radiation safety studies gives the right to work as assisting personnel in medical procedure using radiation.
