Location and time

EXAM tests are taken in the exam aquarium facilities of the university of applied sciences. The student independently books an exam time within the exam period through the EXAM system.

The student is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the EXAM and exam aquarium instructions and is accountable for following the guidelines regarding the exam and the exam facilities.

Learning materials and recommended literature

Materials provided by teachers

All assignments and materials are under Copyright Act (404/61) and a teacher has the copyright. Assignments and materials are not allowed to be distributed or used in any other way. Distributing materials are only allowed if the teacher grants the permit.

Alternative completion methods of implementation

The course is intended for students who have practical nursing degree. Your own career counsellor will check student's diplomas. They must also be presented to the course teachers if necessary.
This course is a substitute for the previously required ahot application process. The implementation is made for the student nurse practitioner and takes into account the nurse practitioner degree as part of the implementation.

Exam dates and retake possibilities

The course exam in EXAM is open during the period: June 4, 2025 – September 30, 2025. The student can take the actual exam and any possible retakes through the same exam link. The course allows for two attempts in total. A passed grade can be improved once.

The student progresses independently the course implementation period and completes the Exam test within the given timeframe, including any retakes and grade improvements.

Course feedback is collected on the implementation of the course, which is an important part of the development of teaching and activities. By providing feedback, you have the opportunity to influence the content of the courses and the development of teaching. Feedback enables teachers to improve their own implementation and teaching methods for other courses. Giving constructive feedback will also develop your own work-life skills. Course feedback is given anonymously and the person giving the feedback cannot be identified.

Assessment methods and criteria

Competence-Based Exam
The course will not be assessed during the teacher’s holiday period.

The student will receive their exam result after submitting the exam. This allows the student the opportunity to retake the exam or improve their grade if needed. The correct answers will not be disclosed after the exam has been submitted. If necessary, the student may contact the responsible teacher with any questions related to their own exam.
