The date of return of the learning assignments and the date of return of the completed learning assignment will be told in Instruction.

The online assignments on the course's Moodle platform (Client-Centered Social and Healthcare Service Competence in Electronic Environments and Nursing Ethics) must be completed: The specific tasks will be announced when the assignments are given.

The written assignment and poster must be submitted to the designated Moodle folder no later than 2 days after the course ends.
The submission deadline for any supplementary tasks will be provided when the assignment is given.

Content scheduling

More information about the progress of the implementation and the course materials can be found on Moodle, which will be introduced during the orientation session at the beginning of the course.
The course consists of the following components:

Study and career planning: 1 ECTS
Professional competence in healthcare: 2 ECTS
Professional digital and communication skills: 2 ECTS
Course assignments:

Ethics and Client-Centered Social and Healthcare Service Competence: Independent online assignments for the student on the Moodle platform.

Written group assignment: The aim of this task is to familiarize students with their future profession while simultaneously learning IT and professional communication skills. Assignment instructions are on Moodle.
Other events related to the course: As indicated in your group’s timetable.

The student is responsible for finding out about the course implementation if absent from the orientation session or other course sessions, by consulting fellow students.

Assessment methods and criteria

Learning assignment, completed according to Metropolia's written assignment guidelines and utilizing Metropolia's digital learning environments.

Participation in the seminar session. If a student is absent due to illness, they should agree with the course teacher on an alternative way of completing the assignment.

Independently completed assignments on Moodle (Ethics and Client-Centered Social and Healthcare Service Competence).
