Objective
Upon completion of the course, student will be able to apply the basic principles of accounting and prepare income statement and balance sheet according to Finnish Accounting Standards. Student will be able to obtain information of the corporate legislation and -taxation in Finland and can record the wages.

This course is aimed for one that has immigration background and speaks Finnish in B1-level. Teaching in slow, plain Finnish (called selkosuomi). Lectures are at the day-time and requires active participation. Course requires a lot of time used outside the classroom. Studying requires accounting skills, previous education or work experience.
