Digital Health Transformation in Nursing & Healthcare (Erasmus BIP) (5 cr)

Objective

• To learn and gain an understanding of principles of digitalization and health technology and their roles and implementation in promoting safety and sustainability in healthcare from an international perspective
• Deepen the understanding of digitalization and transformation in nursing and health care as well as the uses of different digital health interventions in various settings
• Deepen the understanding of methods and tools to be used in the development and implementation of digital health interventions

Content

• Digitalization and digital transformation in nursing and healthcare and the role of technology in promoting patient safety and endorsing sustainable healthcare.
• Potential uses, possibilities, and challenges of digital health technologies and different interventions in nursing and healthcare
• Principles of development and evaluation of the health technology.

Intensive week at Myllypuro campuys 5-9.5.2025

Further information

The course is funded by Erasmus. Students will be provided coffees, snacks, lunches and some dinners during the week. Also costs for the evening programs will be covered (dinners and entrance tickets).
Course has limited space and 5 students will be accepted based on the study records. Successful candidates will be contacted prior the course begins.
