Objective

The student learns the basics of computer-assisted industrial design through 3D modeling and other 3D tools. The student is able to utilise 3D methods in the creation and visualisation of concepts.

Content

- Solving design problems using Computer Assisted Design
- Basics of 3D modeling
- Communication between different CAD systems
- Visualisation

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is familiar with the basics of 3D modeling and is able to produce and visualise products and concepts. The student is able to produce presentation material. The student knows the requirements of data transfer between different CAD systems.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student has a good understanding of the basics of 3D modeling and is able to produce and visualize concepts and products. The student is able to produce high-quality and revised presentation material. The student is well aware of the data transfer requirements between different CAD systems.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has excellent skills in 3D modeling and versatile skills in producing and visualising concepts and products. The student is able to produce high-quality and revised presentation material. The student is well aware of the data transfer requirements between different CAD systems.
