Objective

Course goals:
After completing the online course, the student:
• Knows well the main goals and strategies of sustainable development.
• Recognizes one's own sustainable development values and is motivated to support the responsible operation of the green transition with one's everyday choices.
• Motivated to promote their own sustainable well-being and to spread information and a positive attitude to local networks.
• Knows the characteristics of sustainable work and leadership and knows how to promote them in his own work.
• Knows how to maintain and is motivated to spread ethical expertise that supports occupational well-being in his own operations.

Content

Course contents:
• The main strategies of sustainable development in Finland (1 cr).
• Ecological values, attitude, and orientation (1 cr).
• Life-long promotion of brain health, a stimulus for maintaining one's own well-being (1 cr).
• Sustainable work - well-being, sustainable leadership (1 cr).
• Ethics in sustainable expertise (1 cr).

Teaching methods

Independent online course.
The digital operating environment is Moodle. Kestävä kehitys, oma kestävä hyvinvointi ja asiantuntijuus, 5op. k.-25
The training planner sends a link to the Moodle workspace and a login key there.The manuscript of the course is displayed there and all the tasks are carried out and returned there. A link and login key to the Moodle workspace will be sent to you later.

Theme 2: Ecological values, attitude and orientation (1 ECTS) 4.11 - 17.11.
Theme 3: Lifelong promotion of brain health, an incentive to maintain your own well-being (1 ECTS) 8.4 - 18.4.
Theme 4: Sustainable well-being at work, sustainable leadership(1 ECTS) 2.12 - 14.12.
Theme 5: Ethics in sustainable expertise (1 ECTS) 30.4 - 25.5-25.

Kestävä kehitys ja vastuullinen toiminta on yksi Metropolia Ammattikorkeakoulun päästrategioista ja sen vuoksi tämä opintojakso: Kestävä kehitys, oma kestävä hyvinvointi ja -asiantuntijuus (5op.), on oppimistoiminnan ytimessä. Se on myös yhteiskunnalliset haasteet huomioivaa ja pitkäkestoista työnmurrosta ennakoivaa - asiantuntijuutta muovaavaa kehittämistyötä. Tällä verkkokurssilla on tarkoituksena luoda poikkiasiantuntijuudelle ja sen edelleen kehittämiselle ajantarpeiden mukainen kestävän kehityksen ja vastuullisen toiminnan poikkitieteellinen viitekehys.
