Objective
The student
• learns about the production techniques, concepts and communication of motion graphics
• is able to produce animated text graphics that support the content of a video work and understands their importance in video productions
• is able to produce motion graphics for publication and transfer formats.

• Preparation of graphic material for the production of motion graphics
• Basics and tools of motion graphics
• Creating meaning through moving text and graphic elements
• History of animation and motion graphics

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student
• knows the production methods and terminology of motion graphics, and is able to prepare graphic material for production
• knows the workflow of a motion graphics project, the key stages of the design process and can carry out a small motion graphics production to a satisfactory level
• is able to produce publication formats for different purposes from their project.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student
• is able to apply in practice the production methods of motion graphics and knows the related terminology, and is able to prepare graphic material for production
• understands the workflow of a production project, the key stages of the design process and their objectives
• is able to carry out a small motion graphics production at a good level and is capable of independent problem solving
• knows the specificities of publishing environments from a video production point of view.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student
• is able to apply different production methods of animation and motion graphics in practice and masters the related terminology
• knows the workflow of a motion graphics production project, the key stages of the design process and understands their objectives
• is able to implement motion graphics production, and are self-directed in finding ways to achieve a visually high quality result
• is able to produce publication formats for different purposes from a project and understands their specificities.
