Objective
Upon completing the course, the student will understand the types and characteristics of reactors used in production, enabling them to select and preliminarily size the reactor cost-effectively while considering environmental aspects. This allows production to be planned resource-efficiently and in line with the values of sustainable development. Additionally, the student will learn how the use of catalysts can influence the sizing of necessary reactors and the profitability of production, thus saving both investment costs and environmental impact by making choices in accordance with green chemistry principles.

Resource-efficient sizing of ideal reactors
Reactor groups and their sizing to maximize production energy efficiency and minimize production downtime.
