Learning outcomes
The student will be able to have an active role in process modelling, analysis and development projects. The student will be able to document a process with a process development tool.
The student understand how Lean methods can be used in process development.
Content
Basic concepts and terminology of process mapping and development. Process performance development and defining metrics.
Lean tools for process development.

The student has achieved the course objectives fairly. The student is be able to identify, define and use the course subject area’s central concepts, models and is able to utilize the most common tools. The student understands the criteria and principles of the expertise development.

The student has achieved the course objectives well, even though the knowledge and skills need improvement in some areas. The student knows the course concepts and models well and is able to justify their decisions. The student is able to apply their knowledge in new situations. The student understands the importance of expertise in the field of business and is able to analyze his/her own expertise and areas requiring further development.

The student has achieved the objectives of the course with excellent marks. The student masters commendably the course subject area’s concepts, models and tools. The student is able to make justified and fluent analysis and to present concrete development measures. The student is well prepared to apply the knowledge in new situations. The student is able to analyze the business sector expertise and the development of his/her own expertise.
