Research and Development in Occupational Therapy (5 cr)

Objective

Learning outcomes:
The students use occupational therapy based theory, research data and research methods when planning, implementing and evaluating research and development activities. The students identify the current research and development needs in Finland and choose a research and development target. The students justify the choices related to research and development from the perspective of occupational therapy. The students know the phases of the research and development process and apply them to their Bachelor’s Thesis. The students name the key funding opportunities for projects and research in Finland and develop a project idea as teamwork that complies with the funder's requirements. The students communicate as experts in various research and development tasks and environments.

- Research strategies, positions and processes in R&D activities and in the Bachelor’s thesis
- Methods of analysis of the research and development environment
- Multidisciplinary cooperation and network cooperation
- Funding channels for R&D activities in the social and health care sector
- Basics in scientific writing
- Communication in research and development tasks and projects

Opintojakson oppimistehtävät palautetaan orientaatiossa ilmoitetun aikataulun mukaisesti. Hyväksyttyä oppimistehtävää ei voi uusia, eikä korottaa.

Mikäli opiskelijalla on joku aikaisempi sosiaali-, terveys- tai kuntoutusalan tutkinto tai osaamiskokonaisuus liittyen tutkimus- ja kehittämistyön perusteita tai viestintää, on hänellä mahdollisuus hakea hyväksilukua opintojakson 1 op laajuisesta tk-menetelmäosuudesta (yksilötehtävänä toteutettava oppimispäiväkirja) tai viestinnän kokonaisuudesta. AHOT-hakemukset tulee tehdä hyvässä ajoin ennen opintojakson alkua. Hakemusten tulee olla täytetty ohjeiden mukaisesti ja mahdolliset liitteet tulee olla selkeitä (muuten hakemuksia ei voida käsitellä).

Content scheduling

Opettajan johdolla toteutuva opetus on merkitty lukujärjestykseen.
Ryhmätyöskentely toteutuu lähi- ja etäopetusajan ulkopuolella.

Oppimistehtävien tekstiä ei siis voi muodostaa tekoälyllä. Mikäli hyödynnät tekoälyä oppimistehtävissä, tulee se kirjata selkeästi esille. - can justify the presented points of view and their own action in a professional manner.

Oppimistehtävät (0-5). Annariikan osuus NPT: tiivistystehtävä ryhmässä ja oppimispäiväkirja itsenäisesti.
Mariannen osuus: blogikirjoitus.
Tehtävänannot arviointikriteereineen käydään läpi opintojakson alussa.
