Objective

The Introduction to Cybersecurity course explores cyber trends, threats and staying safe in cyberspace, and protecting personal and company data. This is the first course in the Cisco Junior Cybersecurity Analyst Career Path.
The Junior Cybersecurity Analyst Career Path prepares for the entry-level Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity certification and entry-level cybersecurity positions such as Cybersecurity Technician, Cybersecurity Analyst, or Tier 1 Help Desk Support roles. You will learn vital skills like threat intelligence, network security, and risk management to protect yourself and organizations from cyber attacks.

Course is 100% online (Self-Study) course and it can be done in your own pace.

Course includes 5 Lessons which have to be done in order and two Final Tests.

1. Course Self-Paced Final Exam
You will be tested on the core concepts presented across each of the five modules. There are 15 questions in total and you need to score at least 70% to pass.

2. Metropolia Final Test
There are 50 questions in total, and the duration is 120 minutes. All questions are based on course materials.

You have unlimited attempts to pass the exam so please go back and review any of the module content if you need to.

When you have achieved the required passing score on the test (?70%), you can proceed to complete the Metropolia Final Test.

2. Metropolia Final Test
There are 50 questions in total, and the duration is 120 minutes. All questions are based on course materials.

Minimum passing score for the test is 70% (700/1000). If not achieved, you need retake the test. The retake limit is 3!

Further information

The content of the course is divided into 5 lessons. The lessons contain theory pages, and exercises. The exercises are done in student’s own workstation. After each lesson, there is a rehearse quiz that must be completed before the tab for the next lesson appears.

To continue to the next lesson you need to answer correctly at least 60% of the rehearse quiz questions, or you have tried to take the quiz three times.
