Objective

Learning outcomes:
The students understand the importance of assessment as a part of the occupational therapy process and multidisciplinary rehabilitation. The students know the principles of reliable occupational therapy assessment and the practices of good assessment. The students understand the importance of occupational therapy theory in the assessment process. The students understand that the basis for the assessment is the everyday life of the individual and the possibilities of participation. The students are able to use the occupational therapy model as support for therapeutic reasoning and as a basis for assessing the client's occupational performance. The students are able to use theoretical knowledge to plan the occupation-based assessment and document the assessment results.

- recognize the operating environments of the professional field as well as
-know how client orientation forms a foundation for action.
- show their command of the ethical principles of the professional field
- follow the security guidelines
- can function as members of work team
- understand the significance of strengths and development needs in the professional growth
