Student workload
Obtaining a mark of the course requires 80% participation in classroom instruction and guidance, etc.
Student´s workload is 27 h / ects, which includes contact teaching and independent work of the student.
Studies and the working load of the rehearsals are sized as per the all-time studies.
Obtaining a mark of the course requires that all course assignments are done satisfactorily.
All course assignments must be submitted before the end of the course. If they are late, they will receive a grade reduction.
Further information
This course is implemented at school as contact teaching and small group work, which is presented in class. Small group work is also assessed.
The student's assessment is based on his/her performance during the course. In addition to exams, these include class activity, attendance and small group work with presentations. Attendance should be at least 80%.
The average grade for the exam and small group work is not directly the course grade, but the above-mentioned factors that lower the grade are taken into account.
If necessary, refer to Metropolia's Student and Student Register Privacy Statement (available at OMA: Privacy Statement: Metropolia Student and Study Data Register) on the processing of personal data related to distance learning and the systems, software, IT applications and electronic tools used in the processing of personal data.
