Objective
The student will be able to interpret the financial statement for a company and will be familiar of the basic concepts of cost accounting. Student understands what the role of Business Controller in organizations is and can create a budget. Student understands connection between strategy and performance indicators and understands importance of sustainability reporting.

This course is aimed for one that has immigration background and speaks Finnish in B1-level. Teaching in slow, plain Finnish (called selkosuomi). Lectures are at the day-time and requires active participation. Course requires a lot of time used outside the classroom. Studying requires accounting skills, previous education or work experience.
