Objective
Students
- understand the standpoint and principles of health promotion, including both risk prevention and health promotion
- understand the health determinants related to public health
- follow the public health of the Finnish population and identify changes in relation to it
- understand factors related to community health and know how to apply them to practice
- can apply health promotive approach to practice: bringing up health issues, supporting client’s health changes, motivational and solution-focused approach
- adhere to the ethical principles of health promotion
- can build their work on the foundation of immunization, are proficient in the theoretical aspects of vaccinating and adopt a positive attitude to vaccinating
