The 100% attendance obligation is based on the CEN Osteopathy services standard, according to which the student must accumulate 1000 hours of guided practice during his studies. Absences are always reported to the tutors of the internship day by email and to the student group. Absences due to illness are compensated for more than 8 hours. Also let us know well in advance if you have to leave earlier.
For sickness absences of more than three days, there must be a sickness absence certificate from a doctor or health nurse. This is verified to Mirka Peththahandi, the responsible teacher of the course.
If the absence is caused by something other than illness, it must be compensated in full. Absences can be compensated for by observing other osteopathy student groups in HyMy village or at an external osteopath.
