Student workload

1 cr = 27 h

The course consists of 135 hours of which the amount contact hours will be 43 h (theory, clinical laboratory teaching and simulation) and independent study 92 h (preparing for exam, web-based materials and learning assignments)

More information on progress of the course and course materials are found in Moodle and presented in orientation.

Further information

Pharmacotherapy 2 contains the following parts: theory, clinical labs and simulations, pharmacology 2 lectures. Info about exam practices will be provided on orientation.

Participation in the orientation lecture is mandatory. Students must confirm their attendance for a course implementation by being present when teaching begins. Students who are unable to attend the first teaching session due to illness may also confirm their attendance by informing the lecturer of this in advance.

Participation in theory classes is recommended. It is the responsibility of a single student, being absent from either orientation or other classes, to find out about the contents missed from fellow students.

Clinical labs and simulations are compulsory and it is required that the student attends the teaching wearing nursing uniform and appropriate footwear. All students must follow the taught basic aseptic guidelines.

Recognition of prior learning (AHOT): Recognition of prior learning is only possible for those students who completed similar studies in higher education
