Evaluation methods and criteria
Individual coursework and assignments 70 %
Group assignments 30 %
Teaching methods
Lectures and exercises mainly at Myyrmäki campus in classroom or online depending on the topic and activities of each week
Group and individual assignments
1) MS Visio workshop (process mapping) and group assignment about process mapping and layout planning 20%
2) LEAN GAME workshop in small groups and assignment (only at campus) 20 %
3) SAP S/4HANA workshops (Production Planning module) and assignment 20%
4) Individual quizz or assignment based on the whole course content 40%
Company visits and guest lectures if possible

Participation in LEAN GAME workshop is compulsory.

• has a good understanding of the concepts and models of the subject matter of the course and is able to carry out a reasoned analysis

• understands the importance of expertise in business and is able to analyse their own expertise.

The student
• has achieved the objectives of the course with excellent marks
• has an excellent command of the concepts and models of the subject matter of the course
• is able to analyse clearly and reasonably and propose practical development measures
