Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows how to use the SI system and the units. The student knows the basics of mechanics. The student can solve simple problems in kinematics and mechanics.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student can solve various problems in kinematics and mechanics as well as problems related to rotational motion. The student can use graphical representations.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student can apply the principles of mechanics and kinematics to the study of phenomena in his/her field. The student can identify and describe different natural phenomena. The student can produce and analyse graphical results.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student knows how to use the SI system and the units. The student knows the basics of mechanics. The student can solve simple problems in kinematics and mechanics.

Assessment methods and criteria

Weekly assignments. No resits. Total points 50.

Qualifications

The student is expected to have basic mathematical skills.
