Objective

After completion of the course the student
• knows the basics of mechanics
• is able to solve problems related to motion and energy.

Location and time

2 hrs per week (1-2 sessions per week) according to calendar in Oma.

Weekly homework exercises that will impact evaluation (weight ~40% of total course).

Materials

OpenStax University Physics vol 1. Chapters 1-11.

Teaching methods

Interactive online lessons of approximately one hour twice per week. Attendance required. Additionally self study material.

Four mid-term exams at regular intervals. Re-exams only if agreed before the actual exam date. No chance to take re-exams to improve grade.
