Objective

The students know how to act in communication and interaction situations related to the studies and work tasks in their own field. They know how to produce text types in their field for different channels. The students are able to communicate in various research and development tasks and environments. They are able to search for information and evaluate it critically and use it in a goal-oriented manner. The students are familiar with the good practices of oral and written communication and can apply them appropriately. The students know how to utilize their language and communication skills to continuously develop their thinking and expertise.

Content

Text producing skills and forming professional texts. Interaction skills, including communication with clients, teamwork and negotiations. Linguistic accessibility and current practices of communication using different means and channels. The fundamentals of academic writing. Ethical and critical use of sources and their notation.
