Objective
To gain a wider and deeper knowledge and skills about acute care nursing generally, to have a cultural exchange and share knowledge with students from abroad who share the same interest, to strenghten one`own nursing competence especially in field of acute care, to develop flexibility and team working skills and shared decision making skills, to practise recognizing patient deterioration and ALS skills.
Content
This course will cover different medical emergency situations from a nursing point of view in varied emergency and acute care settings (A&E, ICU, HDU and operating theatres). Intensive week consists of simulations, clinical laboratory practices and fun social activities.
This type of joint course will serve nursing students who are interested in emergency and acute care nursing with aspiration to gain additional competencies for working in the field.
