Objective

The student can manipulate algebraic expressions and solve equations and simultaneous equations. The student can draw and interpret graphs of functions. The student can find angles, lengths, areas and volumes. The student can identify directly and inversely proportional relationships and they can solve simple application problems using proportionality.

The student knows how to perform unit conversions and work with physical equations. The student can define kinematics quantities and describe the motion of a body computationally and graphically. The student can explain the concept of force and describe different types of forces. The student can draw a force diagram of a body. The student can present Newton's laws and model the dynamics of the body.
