Objective

The student deepens their understanding of sustainable development and the circular economy. They are able to apply interdisciplinary knowledge in the practical implementation of sustainable development and circular economy in business operations. The student understands the strategic and operational dimensions of sustainable development and the circular economy in business, and can evaluate and develop business models accordingly.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows the basic concepts of sustainable development and the circular economy and can apply them in simple business contexts. They understand the fundamental principles of sustainable development and the circular economy and can identify their application possibilities in business.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student deeply understands the concepts of sustainable development and the circular economy and can apply them diversely in various areas of business. They are capable of analyzing and evaluating the impacts of sustainable development and the circular economy on business strategy and operations. The student can propose practical improvements and innovations to advance sustainable development in a business.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has achieved the objectives of the course with excellent marks. The student masters commendably the course subject area’s concepts and models. The student is able to make justified and fluent analysis and to present concrete development measures. The student is well prepared to apply his/her knowledge in leisure, study and work situations. The student is able to analyze the business sector expertise and the development of his/her own expertise.

The student demonstrates proficiency in the theories, concepts, and applications of sustainable development and the circular economy. They can independently and creatively develop and implement solutions for sustainable development and the circular economy in business. The student can critically evaluate and develop sustainable development and circular economy strategies and practices in a business.
