"Live" Zoom Lectures at 14:30 on most Tuesdays and one Thursday - Some assignments due on Thursdays

Materials

International PM Certification and International Management Materials covering various publications – main focus is on the PMP (Project Management Professional) covering the international PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) tested and certification provided by the IPMA (International Project Management Association) recognized in most countries (not given by this school – refer to the site www.pmi.or g).
(Further reading list to be provided on different types of projects in the Course Syllabus for various fields of study - marketing, IT, engineering and problem solving, etc.) – cases in International Management also covered as well as the Feasibility Study from a business perspective withing the Industrial Project Life Cycle

Exam schedules

“Final Review Tool” (a Take-Home Exam obviously) to be posted on June - should be taken in a 2-hour time period by the student, self-regulated on the honour system – can take 3 hours if language is difficult - ultimate deadline: 17:00 June 18th – to be explained

Content scheduling

There will be five dates that have virtual lectures (recorded) and dates when there are no lectures but something is due. A detailed Course Syllabus and Gantt Chart will be provided on May 14 *
Starts 14th of May ends June 13 (18th final deadline) - Recorded for individual schedule and independent study:
Week 20 14.5 - Lecture (recorded) and 16.5 Preliminary reading and email contact due
Week 21 21.5 Lecture (part review - part recorded) and 23.5 - Lecture (recorded)
Week 22 No Lectures but quizzes due on Tuesday 28th and Thursday the 30th
Week 23 4.6 Lecture (recorded) and 6.6. (D-Day) case assignment due (flexible)
Week 24 11.6 Lecture (recorded) and 13.6 Final Review Tool (Exam) sent

The student has achieved the course objectives fairly. Student will be able to identify, define and use the course subject area’s concepts and models. The student understands the criteria and principles of the expertise development.

The student has achieved the course objectives well, even though the knowledge and skills need improvement on some areas. Student is able to define the course concepts and models and are able to justify the analysis. The student is able to apply their knowledge in leisure, study and work situations. The student understands the importance of expertise in the field of business and is able to analyze his/her own expertise.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has achieved the objectives of the course with excellent marks. Student masters commendably the course subject area’s concepts and models. Student is able to make justified and fluent analysis and to present concrete development measures. The student is well prepared to apply their knowledge in leisure, study and work situations. Student is able to analyze the business sector expertise and the development of his/her own expertise.
