Objective
The student can name factors related to both worker and work environment that affects work ability. The student understands how these affect wellbeing at work. The student knows different methods and tools for assessing work ability and work environment in occupational therapy and gets experience in using some of them. The student knows how to formulate the collected information by using the model of human occupation. The student is able to make recommendations for enhancing work ability and performance capacity. The student knows the occupational therapy process from the perspective of enhancing work ability and understands the importance of a multifaceted data collection in order to facilitate change.

Further information
This course is directed to occupational therapists and occupational therapy students.
We will accept:
- Metropolia occupational therapy students that have passed the course Therapeutic occupation in productive (study, work) and leisure activities. Students further in the programme will be prioritized.
- Occupational therapy students from other universities of applied sciences who have at least 100 ects accomplished.
- Occupational therapists.
Metropolia´s OMA is used as a workingplatform and lectures will be held in zoom.
