Objective
A student learns a basic concept of physics and natural sciences in order to understand physical and chemical phenomena related to the contents of his or her own professional field.
One of the main objects of the course is to develop the ability of solving natural scientific problems and learn to apply the physical and mechanical models in practical technical situations.

2. Motion in one dimension
3. Basics of Newtonian dynamics
4. Linear momentum
5. Work, energy, power and the coefficient of efficiency
6. Dynamics of circular motion
7. Kinematics and dynamics on rotational motion

Materials
Tekniikan fysiikka 1, chapters 1-9, all learning material distributed through OMA working space including exercises.

Contact teaching and calculation exercises
Exam schedules
2 exams 10.10.2024 ja 12.12.2024. Retests (2 times) in january-february 2025.
Student workload
Contact teaching 50 h, calculation exercises 50 h, self-study and deepening learning 35 h.
