Objective
After completing the course the student knows the differences between active and passive safety in automotive technology. The student understands the operation of the systems and knows the basic operation of sensor technology in terms of system operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Assessment methods and criteria
The course assessment consists of two parts, exam (70%) and laboratory report (30%). Successful completion of the course requires an approved performance both in the exam and in the laboratory report.
