Objective

On completion of the course, student knows the principles and phases of installing, configuring and managing the VMware vSphere environment, both in theory and in practice.

Content

vCenter installation and configuration, ESX/ESXi network and disk systems, provisioning virtual hosts, user management, vSphere maintenance.

Student knows the principles and phases of installing, configuring and managing a VMware vSphere environment.

Student is able to install and configure vSphere virtualization environment.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Student is able to plan, implement and maintain vSphere virtualization environment.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

All exercises have been completed and approved.

Qualifications

Basics of Virtualization and Cloud Computing course or equivalent skills and knowledge.
