Objective

After completion of the course the student understands what underlying situations and conditions lead to oscillatory and wave phenomena, can analyse these and connect them with the appropriate mathematics.

The student knows he main concepts and theory of the subject, and is able to use them to analyse simple problems.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to combine the knowledge acquired from different subject areas, and is able to solve more demanding mathematical problems on this basis.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In addition to the in-depth understanding of the course contents, the student also shows capability and motivation to exploit the acquired knowledge into independent development of competence.
