ICT23K-SI-ESmart IoT Systems: Embedded IoT Devices
Objective
After completing the course student is capable of demonstrating an IoT device from smart connected device to server and client side application. The student understands the required technologies in order to design, test and integrate a smart system with the internet by visualizing sensor data and controlling of their smart device over the web. Additionally software and hardware integration is supported through the completion of practical exercises.

- Fundamentals of IoT Systems
- Server and Client side scripting (Nodejs, Express)
- Database integration (Mongo, SQL)

- HTTP, REST, HTML, CSS, Ajax, cookies, MQTT
- Various Javascript frameworks

Students are able to define the course concepts and models and are able to justify the analysis. The student is able to apply their knowledge in leisure, study and work situations. The student understands the importance of expertise in the field of information technology and is able to analyze his/her own expertise.
