Objective

On completion of the course the student knows
- the phases and active parties of a construction project
- the significance of the construction industry in the society
- the different branches of the construction industry
- the basics of the central topics in construction economics
- the basic concepts of construction and project economy.

Content

Basics of Construction Economics in different areas: phases of construction and parties involved, building in community, building project, project management, cost management, timetables, quality control, procurement, real estate management.
