Basics of Construction (5 cr)

Objective

On completion of the course the student is familiar with the production techniques related to the main phases of a construction site and can prepare a site area plan and describe how to set up a construction site.
In addition, the student can take into account occupational safety requirements and perform risk management in planning construction phases.

2. The key plans guiding production
3. The most common working methods, related resources and risk management
4. Quality assurance of different construction phases, risk management and occupational safety

The student can explain main production techniques on a construction site, working methods and principles of risk management.
