- Has proficient knowledge in applying the women centered care philosophy and theories in midwifery care
- Has proficient knowledge in developing midwifery care operating models to support women’s health, wellbeing and sexuality
- Has comprehensive knowledge in training the development of evidence based midwifery care

- Implementation of fertility and menopausal counselling in midwifery care
- Implementation of methods for maintaining the condition of the pelvic floor and preventing incontinence in midwifery care
- Identifying and preventing intimate partner violence

- Has key knowledge in developing women centered midwifery care
- Has key knowledge in midwifery care models /theories in clinical practice to support health, wellbeing, and sexuality of women
- Has key knowledge in developing evidence based midwifery in their own work community

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student
- Has comprehensive knowledge in developing midwifery care based on its theories
- Has comprehensive knowledge in applying the theories of women centered care in midwifery care
- Has comprehensive knowledge in developing new operating models in midwifery care to support health, wellbeing, and sexuality of women.
- Has key knowledge in training the development of evidence based midwifery care in their own work community

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student
- Has proficient knowledge in developing evidence based midwifery care
- Has proficient knowledge in applying the women centered care philosophy and theories in midwifery care
- Has proficient knowledge in developing midwifery care operating models to support women’s health, wellbeing and sexuality
- Has comprehensive knowledge in training the development of evidence based midwifery care

Assessment methods and criteria

Groupwork 0-5, specified evaluation criteria in Moodle.
Learning diary. Accept - reject.
Peer review.
Possibility to run rejected task by agreeing with responsible teacher or by taking part in the following course.
