Objective

The Students
• are able to explain the importance of preventive work in promoting the well-being and health of older people
• are able to describe ways to advance the well-being and health of an older person
• plan and implement preventive measures to support the health and well-being of older people, taking into account technological opportunities
• are able to explain the importance of sexual health to an older person

Content

• the fundamentals of advancing health, well-being and the functional capacity of older people
• health behaviour and prevention of health risks
• basics of preventive mental health work and psychosocial support
• ageing and nutrition
• utilizing remote services in counselling
• sexuality and sexual health when ageing
• motivating methods in advancing health
