Supporting Older People Living at Home (15 cr)

Objective

The Students:

• can explain the importance of home for an older person
• identify the importance of the environment for older people and find ways to promote environmental memory friendliness
• identify ways to support older people living at home and kinship care and informal care
• are able to assess the needs of services for home care clients and informal care families and to know the methods used to draw up a client plan;
• identify multiprofessional networks for informal and home care
• are able to justify the role of an older person and their loved ones in planning and implementation of services
• recognise the importance of communities in the well-being of an older person;
• are able to explain the role and importance of volunteering in supporting living at home

Opintojakson osasuoritukset edellyttävät soveltuvien lähteiden käyttöä.
Tehtävät tulee palauttaa annetun aikataulun mukaan.
Opintojakson osasuoritukset (esim. kirjalliset tehtävät ja verkkokeskustelut) arvioidaan ja vaikuttavat kokonaisarvosanaan.
Hyväksyttyä kirjallista tehtävää ei ole mahdollista korottaa.
Läsnäolo opetuksessa ja aktiivinen osallistuminen opetukseen vaikuttaa arviointiin.
Opintojaksolla ei ole käyttössä poissaolon korvaavaa tehtävää
Hyväksytty harjoittelu edellyttää soveltuvien lähteiden käyttöä kirjallisessa harjoitteluraportissa.

Tekoälyn käyttö opintojaksolla:

Huomioithan, että oppimistehtävissä tulee hyödyntää opintojakson tavoitteisiin soveltuvia ja/tai määriteltyjä lähteitä ja tekoäly voi toimia tukena omalle ajattelulle. Oppimistehtävien tekstiä ei siis voi muodostaa tekoälyllä. Mikäli hyödynnät tekoälyä oppimistehtävissä, tulee se kirjata selkeästi esille.

Mikäli opiskelijalla on erityisen tuen päätös, joka vaikuttaa opintojakson suorittamiseen, tulee opiskelijan olla opintojakson vastuuopettajaan yhteydessä heti opintojakson ilmoittautumisajan päätyttyä.
